The Beginning

Hello! I am starting this blog to record the memorable moments of motherhood. I am a mom to an 18 month old little boy named Brody. I am a teacher who taught kindergarten for five years, and will be starting my second year of first grade this fall. My son was the first of 11 babies born in my building since Dec. 2007. It has been an amazing experience since most of us became first time moms within a single year's time. I am currently enjoying my summer break and am loving my time home with my son. My husband and I just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary in May. We have been together for 11 years and were high school sweethearts. As I begin this blog, I feel the stress of the school year completely melting away. This will be a good outlet for me to share my thoughts as a working mom who feels like she has completely lost her mind since my son was born:).
